Kylee Greenwell: Family of missing Kentucky girl, 14, says ‘just need my kid home safe’

After many days, the family of a missing 14-year-old Kentucky girl is begging for help. Kylee Greenwell, 14, was last seen at her home on Poole Mill Road in Crofton, a small hamlet 90 miles northwest of Nashville, at 1 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1.

On Sunday, March 5, Leah Ashley Greenwell, who shares Kylee’s last name, posted a statement on Facebook pleading for help identifying the missing adolescent. Kylee and Leah’s relationship wasn’t immediately clear. The Kentucky adolescent wore plaid white, red, and black pajamas, a grey t-shirt, and brown boots with maroon ankles. 14 News claims she is five-foot-four with hazel eyes and brown hair.

The Kentucky State Police are also seeking assistance in finding runaway teen Kylee Greenwell. According to a news statement, the 14-year-old was last seen at her Poole Mill Road home in Crofton, Kentucky, at 1 am on March 1. According to WEVV-TV, police described the missing teen as 5-foot-4, 105 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

The teen girl’s family also wants help finding her. “I want to tell anyone who knows where Kylee is. “If you’re afraid of anyone knowing who told us, we’ll keep your information anonymous,” the girls’ family posted. “We simply want her home. Any information that helps us find her would be forever appreciated. I want my baby to come home safe. #FindKylee #BringKyleeHome.”

No one is angry with you for leaving.

Leah On Friday, March 3, Ashley Greenwell urged Kylee to return home on Facebook. “We love you, Kylee Jo. Just know that no one is upset with you for leaving. We’re terrified and worried about you, “message writes. “We understand your pain and indecision. Just get home safely. We miss and adore you, and we’ll figure it out.”

It said, “Our love for you is unchangeable. Just return safely. We adore you, dear, and are proud of your courage these past months.” Further, “Baby, you’re loved. Honey, contact us. We adore and miss you.” Justin Greenwell, Kylee’s father, wrote Friday, “I’m heartbroken. Missing Kylee Jo!”
