In the mountains west of Los Angeles, where folks are still cleaning up after more than 100 inches of snow fell over a week ago, light snow also fell this weekend.
According to the governor’s office, workers in San Bernardino County have cleared about 2,270 Olympic-size swimming pools’ worth of snow from county highways, or more than 7.2 million cubic yards.

Tuesday into Wednesday, another storm is forecast to deliver fresh snow to Northern California and the Sierras, although this system is not anticipated to be significant.
Northern California is anticipated to experience the next significant storm for California at the end of the week.
The atmospheric river will dump a lot of rain on the San Francisco region and add another five feet of snow to the Sierras.
