LONDON: After 21-year-old Polish girl Julia Wandelt created an Instagram account to imply she was Madeleine McCann, a juvenile who went missing in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in 2007, thousands were confused. Her claims sparked a big social media debate.
On May 3, 2007, three-year-old McCann vanished from her holiday apartment bed. German prosecutors suspect her death. Wandelt, also known as Julia Wendell and Julia Faustyna, made shocking allegations that triggered events.
Julia Wandelt claims Madeleine McCann on Instagram Live.
Wandelt’s Instagram profile, ‘I am Madeleine McCann,’ went up last month with the alarming claims. She said she was 21 in the video, which went viral. She mentioned that her body has McCann-like patches.
Julia Wandelt claims her parents refused to discuss her allegations.
Wandelt told The Tab the morning after she went viral that she had called the police many times. She claimed she was assured it would not be examined. She stated that she contacted her local, Capital City, MET, Portugal, and Crimestoppers.“Operation Grange and I spoke a few months ago.”
She told her family about her convictions, but they refused to discuss them. “[My] mother didn’t want to talk about it,” she stated. She claimed she wouldn’t discuss the past. She urged me to focus on the future today. “Even if I’m not your father, will it matter?” my dad asked.
Madeleine McCann’s family accepts a DNA test.
The McCann family saw Wandelt’s viral story. A source told The Tab that the family was eager to investigate all leads. The girl seems similar, so they should consider all circumstances. Unquestionably. If she’s right, it may be her. It’s cumulative.”
Julia Wandelt publishes “evidence.”
Wandelt published more “proof” to prove she is McCann, including a video of Kate McCann’s mother that transitions into her own face. She thought it showed similarities. She said a German pedophile abused her.
“I don’t remember most of my childhood, but my earliest memory is quite powerful, and it’s about holidays in a hot place with a beach and white or extremely light-colored buildings with apartments,” she added. “I don’t remember my family.”
Julia Wandelt’s parents say
After speaking with Wandelt’s biological family, Wroclaw Provincial Police Headquarters’ Pawel Noga stated detectives had “ruled out” her claims.
Wandelt claimed her relatives called her “not normal” for offering “hope to the McCanns” “and calling her a “horrible person” they “don’t want to know anymore”. “You are ill, Julia,” her mother said, accusing her of “putting up a circus.” The family refused a DNA test to solve the mystery.
‘We took her.”
Julia Wandelt recalled overhearing her mother’s chat. Dr. Fia Johansson, a private detective and psychic medium who investigated the case, told The Sun, “What we found after some research into this is that she overheard her mother state something along the lines of, ‘I don’t know why we have this daughter, she has always been a troublemaker since we took her’. Since then, she began to wonder if her parents were her real parents.”
Francisco Marco, McCann’s parents’ investigator, was hired afterwards. I don’t understand it without more information. She’s not it, “El Independiente reported.
Julia Wandelt’s real parents present “proof” of her deception.
Wandelt’s parents then presented proof of her deception. “Julia is clearly our daughter, grandchild, sister, niece, cousin, and step-niece. Pictures, recollections. Julia took these images from the family home with the birth certificate and many hospital discharges,
The family accused Wandelt of spreading “lies on the internet” and mailing home threats. “We attempted to grasp all of Julia’s situations,” the family said. Julia’s threats, lies, and internet activity.”
“We’ve seen it all and attempted to prevent, explain, and persuade her to stop. We always helped her recover. Julia is older. She left home. Julia wanted to sing and model. She craved fame. She currently has one million followers, she said. We fear Julia will bear the inevitable. The internet will remember, and Julia isn’t Maddie. This is devastating.”
Police dismissed Julia Wandelt’s case.
Because her parents protested, the Polish police dropped Wandelt’s case. Julia and Dr. Fia then stated that Julia may be “any” missing child. Livia Schepp, a Swiss girl who disappeared in 2011 with her twin Alessia, was investigated. Six-year-olds.
Dr. Fia added, “Julia is quite receptive to the concept that she may be Livia Schepp, and we are examining this possibility. She told me she could be any lost child, not just Madeleine. Julia seeks the truth about herself. We’re testing Julia’s DNA to see if it matches Livia’s. We’re exploring all options.”
